A fantastic little find. A recent change in chef, but now up to the same standard. Reasonable prices, great quality food, nice views over the Nene Valley. You need to book UPDATE : 11/4/2025. A Hugh price increase!!! Has priced yourselves out of OUR budget. We are regular pensioners on a budget. Unfortunately it would appear that your success has gone to your heads and your wallet needs topping up. Please reconsider your actions, otherwise you may close down. Please Add a current up to date menus with prices clearly shown

Absolutely amazing food! Esther did a fabulous job and we had two of the best toasted panini’s we have ever had! The fact that one was gluten free and you couldn’t tell was a very rare experience! Can’t wait to go back!

After recommendations for a cars&coffee type vibe myself and a friend could go to for an early morning coffee with our cars ;) we opted for this place. Lovely views and good food, we sat outside, put the world to rights while taking in the countryside. I will definitely return here, perhaps with more of us. Great parking right outside. food was top draw as was the host.

Parking right out the front we were soon seated and ordered The Buttery Breakfast which was fabulous value at 25 pounds for two. The food was perfect and the service friendly and professional. We highly recommend the Buttery.

Pleasant surroundings even on a dreary day as today. Attentive and helpful staff who want to provide a good service. We chose just tea and cake. The cake was a sensible size and we shared two different options. The Tea Pigs tea arrived in a large pot which was great. The small bottle of milk was a reminder of junior school - a long time ago now. The breakfasts that passed us, on route to another table certainly looked good; I'd need to arrive by bicycle to justify that treat - maybe in the spring.

Had a really yummy Jacket Potato lunch at The Buttery Cafe today. Service was attentive and friendly. I'd advise booking in advance as it's popular and very busy here. Would recommend!!

What a great find this place is! Lovely cafe with an adjoining farm shop, a fair amount of seating indoors plus some outdoor seating under cover. We stopped by for brunch (they were still serving breakfast options at lunchtime thankfully!) and we all had breakfast baps which were delicious. Bonus points for having gluten free paninis which they used instead of a regular bap for me. The sausage and bacon were great quality. The servers were lovely and friendly. And the cafe is dog friendly too (including indoors) so we were really happy all round! Would definitely recommend this place.

Despite having 18 bikers descend upon them out of the blue , the service was fantastic and always with a smile and patience
